1. Red Rocks Amphitheater
You’ve heard about it, you’ve probably even been to a concert there. If you have, you understand how unforgettable the experience is. If you haven’t, and you’re planning to visit Colorado, do yourself a favor and splurge on some Red Rocks concert tickets. 2. Browns Canyon National Monument
Accessible only by raft, Browns Canyon is one of Colorado’s newest National Monuments located in Buena Vista. This rafting adventure is world-class and not to be missed. 5. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Visiting Colorado Springs? Don’t forget to stop by the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo during your stay! Feed the giraffes, and see all the other exotic animals!
6. Breckenridge
Breckenridge has so much to offer, all year round! It is a stunning mountain town walking distance to the gondola. Explore the scenic downtown, or go skiing at one of the most legendary mountains in the country. Can you name the Jim Carrey movie that was filmed here?!
7. Coors Field
Hot dogs! Cold beers! Baseball! What’s not to love?!
8. Million Dollar Highway
We recommend visiting this epic drive in summer! Winter can get a bit spicy as you look down the steep cliffs. From Ouray to Silverton, the Million Dollar Highway is simply stunning – one you have to see for yourself. Ouray is known as ‘the Switzerland of Colorado’
9. Telluride
With multiple music festivals each year, it’s easy to get an excuse to go visit Telluride. World class skiing in arguably the most beautiful town in Colorado?! Yes please. You can ride the gondola for free in the summer and catch a glimpse of Mt. Sneffels. Enjoy some jazz in autumn as the leaves are turning.
10. Mount Princeton Hot Springs
Nestled into the Chalk Cliffs of the legendary Collegiate Peak, Mt. Princeton – these hot springs are not to be missed after a long day adventuring around Buena Vista and Salida. Stunning views and warm pools await you.
